Practice Tip
Perfect
for practice Atarigane
are round plastic food
storage or to-go
containers in the
500mL size (2.1 cups).
They are muuuuch
quieter, your
neighbors will love
you, and minimizing
hard impact time will
cut down wear and tear
on your mallet. We
strongly suggest this
option for dojos and
new groups. Who wants
to hear 15 badly
played Atarigane until
you master this small
but spunky instrument?
Like bachi, and the
drums we love, shumoku
are made from natural
materials and will
wear-out over time.
But with a bit of
foresight and care,
your instrument will
serve you for many
enjoyable years to
come.

Sheds &
Finds
We
are proud to
help support
organizations
and breeders
that are
dedicated to
preserving
healthy
animals and
habitats. None
of our antler
stock is cut
from live
animals. All
antler stock
is either
found in the
wild (squirrel
chew marks and
all) or
collected from
domestic
animal ranges
after shed
season.
Looking
for whole
antlers for
that special
project? May
we suggest...
